We all make choices. Whatever our areas of interest and standards of living are, we are either compulsorily or voluntarily required to make choices at every part of our lives. Some of them come out beneficial for us while others turn out bad. No matter what we do, we need to remember that we are free to choose but we are not free from the consequences of the decisions we took.
If you found a bad habit in yourself or your friend you cannot directly force yourself or him to stop. Because if you did that, you (or he) wouldn’t have a choice. And having choices, making decisions based on more than instinct, is the only thing that separates humans from animals.
